We are looking for a qualified, experienced teacher of English as an Additional Language to support a Thai national towards gaining proficiency in English.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The adult student has recently relocated to the UK and currently has basic English language skills. A tutor is needed for one-to-one English language lessons in order to improve her English ready to successfully meet the language conditions for a long-term visa application.

HOURS

This is a by-the-hour position.  The student would like 3 lessons a week, for an hour or two each time, until she is ready to take the language test. She is hoping to be ready in 3-6 months time.

ACCOMMODATION, TRAVEL AND MISCELLANEOUS

There is no accommodation provided with this role. The tutor is expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of the student.

Travel costs will not be covered.

The client will be responsible for any expenses incurred relating to education materials, external costs etc.  The tutor is expected to gain approval from the client before incurring expenses.
