These are testing times for all of us, and there is no doubt that conventional education around the world is struggling with continuing to deliver high-quality learning to students.

Minimising the impact

With many schools operating online and others impacted by social distancing etiquette, Beacon has been offering “pod” solutions to small groups of families as well as our Online Support for others. Small groups of 3 or 4 families employing the services of 2 or 3 tutors can very effectively form a small, more secure, environment in which high-quality learning can continue through the current pandemic. Utilising existing family facilities or locally rented spaces, our tutors will continue your children’s education with familiar term-time routines whilst isolating them from the population in general.

During these uncertain times, many activities that we would naturally do face-to-face have had to move online. Our tutors at Beacon have a wide range of skills beyond the academic and we can help you find online alternatives to music lessons, martial arts training, drama groups and more.

From STEM activities through to online Art lessons, at Beacon, we can find you a bespoke solution that enables your child to continue their development in their chosen fields until life returns to normal and isolation is no longer needed.
