A family in the 16e arrondissement requires a part-time, after school tutor for their grade 9 daughter to provide in-person tuition. She currently attends a Tier 1 International school in Paris following the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and would like some consolidation and extension in all main subject areas. The tutor will be responsible for assisting with homework, consolidating curriculum material and preparing for upcoming tests and assignments.

The successful applicant will be a qualified and experienced practitioner who will take a long term interest in the academic development of the student, imparting not only knowledge, but the motivation and skills to be a successful life-long learner. The tutor will be comfortable enabling a mentoring relationship with the student. Full records of all teaching and learning activities and progress must be kept up to date. Teaching will be in English, but also speaking French would be advantageous.

The tutor will be expected to be available 3 to 4 days a week after school for 90 minutes each time during term times. The job is to start as soon as the right candidate is found.
